Christmas baking--a bit late

Although we didn't decorate for Christmas besides putting up the tree, we did quite a lot of baking around Christmastime.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies and Three Layer Bars for Mother's Day Out teachers:

Shaped Chocolate Pretzel Rods (using Wilton candy molds) for Aaron's work colleagues:

Somehow we didn't take pictures of our favorite new recipe, Caramel Chocolate Drops. These take a bit of work, but they are awesome cookies!!

I think, those are the prettiest Hershey's Kiss cookies I've ever seen. And I really like the molded chocolate/pretzel rod idea!

Cindy makes a chocolate caramel cookie very similar to the one you linked to; it's my fav! Did you have any problems with the Rolos melting through the bottom of your cookies? I made a batch several years ago right before I headed home on Christmas break, and it was a huge disaster. At the time I blamed my weirdo oven, but -- frankly -- it was probably baker's error.
